In 2006, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled 101EX, an experimental car hand-built to explore an exciting new design direction for a modern coupé. Wrapped in a sleek, rakish body, 101EX was an engineering-led study, showcasing the technical and architectural innovation inherent in the quintessential modern Rolls-Royce car. Both handsome and elegant, it encapsulated the essence of contemporary coupé style.

So positive was the worldwide reaction to 101EX that, in autumn 2007, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced that a series model would go into production in the summer of 2008. This coupé would complete the Phantom family, standing alongside the Phantom, Phantom Extended Wheelbase and Phantom Drophead Coupé. Read the rest of this entry »

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Tungsten is featured in the Bespoke Collection. The bonnet has a dramatic brushed aluminium finish, which contrasts elegantly with the bodywork, painted in Darkest Tungsten - a colour never used before on a production Rolls-Royce. New 21-inch forged aluminium wheels and visible exhaust tail pipes lend a particularly purposeful air to this special Phantom. On the inside is a unique interior lighting system, featuring a Starlight Headlining, which 2008-rolls-royce-phantom-tungsten-111.jpgcomprises several hundred fibre-optic lights embedded into perforated black leather, giving the impression of a star-filled night sky. Smoke Grey leather seats with contrasting Navy Blue piping complement the rich rosewood veneers and tooled metal steering wheel spokes.

1983-rolls-royce-camargue.jpgRolls-Royce Camargue
Rolls-Royce Camargue was designed by Sergio Pininfarina, becoming the first post-war model not to be styled by Rolls-Royce themselves. Although it shared the platform with a conservative Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, the car’s looks was far from the brands traditional styling. This fastback coupe managed to combine a spacious interior with respectable handling characteristics, and being mostly hand-made provided outstanding build quality. This exceptional car was first shown in March 1975 and had a price tag to match its magnificent appeal. Rolls-Royce Camargue was priced at £83,000 which made it the most expensive production car at that time.

Rolls-Royce Camargue was produced from 1975 to 1986 with 531 cars leaving the factory in that time, one of which was labeled as a Bentley.
